This program is offered to those who wish to become ski or snowboard instructors or assistant instructors. It is aimed at familiarizing the participants with the various teaching techniques and at understanding and developing skiing abilities.
These courses are a good preparation before the instructor training seminar.
Registrations for the apprentice instructor training start on September 1st, 2018.

- The apprentice instructor training is available only to individuals aged 12 years and over - limited spaces.
- Access to the lifts is included during the lesson (only).
- No changes permitted.
- No refund or credit in case of absence.
- The Ski School reserves the right to modify or to cancel a course or a lesson.

Ski instructor - Training
Each year, Mont Rigaud holds a training seminar and a qualifying course to become a certified ski instructor for the new ski instructors. This 4 day course ends with an evaluation and a qualification allowing you to obtain the Level 1 certification as per the Canadian Ski Instructor Alliance (CSIA) Program. This qualification constitutes the minimum prerequisite to teach in a ski school in Canada. The content of the level 1 ski instructor's stage is available on the site of the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA).
Prerequisite: be at least 15 years of age.
Snowboard instructors - Training
Each year, Mont Rigaud holds a training and a qualification course for the new snowboarding instructors. This 3 day course ends with an evaluation and a qualification allowing you to obtain the Level 1 Certification according to the Canadian Association of Snowboarding Instructors (CASI). This qualification constitutes the minimum prerequisite to teach in a ski school in Canada. The content of the level 1 snowboarding instructor's stage is available on the site of the Canadian Association of Snowboarding Instructors (CASI).
Prerequisite: be at least 15 years of age.
