ALPINE TOURING
An Alpine Touring area on designated trails is accessible up to the summit to allow you to practice Nordic skiing* with your climbing skins, snowshoeing or « Fatbike ».
*Alpine Touring trails are not suitable for cross-country skiing.
Mandatory online reservation.
A daily access ticket or a season pass (ski, mountain bike or mountain access) is mandatory to access the designated trails. Access to the chairlift requires a separate ski access ticket or ski season pass.
Pedestrians are not allowed in order to preserve the trails. Snowshoes, Fatbike or Nordic skis are mandatory.
No Nordic skiing equipment rental.
Snowshoe and « Fatbike » rental available (limited quantity). Available online with mandatory reservation.

Approximate distance: More than 8 kilometers (roundtrip)
Skill Level: Easy
Take only designated trails; climb or descend during the opening hours of the mountain. Mont Rigaud reserves the right to charge a fee of $250 or more for any request of assistance outside of its opening hours. In case of emergency, dial 911.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Dogs are allowed on the Alpine Touring area. However, for the safety of our customers, by respect for others and the environment, they must be on leash AT ALL TIMES. You must also insure to clean up and pick up after them. Dogs are not allowed inside the main chalet.
