END OF SEASON - COVID-19

15 March 2020

3:00pm

Dear skiers and snowboarders,

This Sunday March 15, 2020, there was an important update by government authorities implementing restrictive measures aiming to limit the propagation of the COVID-19 virus. These new measures include the closure of all gathering places such as bars, movie theaters, libraries, gyms, etc. Quebec ski hills are also included in this directive and must cease all activities (skiing, snowboarding, tubing and fatbike) and this for an undetermined period of time.

It is with regret that Mont Rigaud announces that the 2019-2020 ski season will end as of today, Sunday March 15, 2020, at 4:00pm. Even though this cuts into our spring skiing, we have no choice but to comply with government authorities to ensure the health and safety of all. Mont Rigaud warmly thanks our loyal clientele as well as all our staff for this wonderful season.

Customers who have rental equipment for the 2019-2020 season and have not yet returned their equipment can do so every day between 9:00am and 4:00pm until March 29, 2020. Lockers must also be emptied according to the same schedule.

We continue to ask all customers returning equipment or emptying their lockers to be vigilant, to apply recommended hygiene practices, and to stay at home if they have symptoms of the virus.

We hope to see you all very soon for our summer season. If the situation permits, mountain bike trails are scheduled to open May 1st, 2020.

Wishing everyone a great spring!

Mont Rigaud team
